MorrisonKent Lawyers had a muted, conservative brand identity which really didn’t represent their values or approach to business. They needed an image that they could be proud of, and which reflected how they work – savvy, approachable, agile and sharp (but not excessive or extravagant).

 

An Injection of Colour

Injecting a refreshing, vibrant orange to balance their trustworthy, dependable blue immediately lifted their visual intensity. The supporting directional arrow device creates a feeling of forward progression and dynamism.

 

The Collateral

Introducing metaphorical images that convey Morrison Kent’s brand values and capabilities allows the brand collateral to remain visually interesting. Clean, simple grid lines and plenty of white space reflect the contemporary shift in the brand’s visual language.

 

An Online Presence

It was important for Morrison Kent’s website to showcase their capabilities so we designed a home page that celebrates their brand values and engages their readers by highlighting their most recently published articles. The content-rich website is easily navigable and translates the brand identity into the digital space with ease.

 

GGI NZ Business Summit

As 2016 hosts of a key industry networking event through their alliance with Geneva Group International, MorrisonKent wanted a visual identity for the conference, and a collateral pack to make this an event to remember for attending delegates.

 

The Identity

Basing the identity on a speech mark reinforces the event’s purpose: discussion, collaboration and networking. A smart-but-playful colour palette pairing yellow with navy supports the conversational statements used throughout the brochure.

 

The Outcome

MorrisonKent were thrilled with the outcome and proud to hand out the delegate packs, which contained a branded tote bag, delegate name tags and a notebook including the conference programme.
